New York Mayor Eric Adams continues to rail on about the mess he thinks Texas Governor Greg Abbott has visited on his city with the busing of illegal immigrants, but I hear nothing from him about the main culprit, which is the total abdication of duty to protect our borders on the part of the Biden administration. Meanwhile, Biden refuses to fix asylum law and insists in using the scapegoat response of the need for “comprehensive immigration reform”, which anyone but a fool knows can’t happen as long as the U. S. – Mexico border is wide open. We have come to talk about impeachment at every turn; it seems to me that the grounds for such a charge in this crisis are overwhelming.
Meanwhile, the longer this crisis persists the more likely the response by the American people, prompted by populist anti-immigration movements, will be to drastically reduce legal immigration, which would be a huge mistake for the country. A few months ago, in an opinion piece in the Wall Street Journal by Daniel Henninger, he makes a prediction: “If the U. S. fails to find its way to a new system for legal immigrants, if it consciously chooses to flatline its human capital, America’s grandchildren today will grow to old age in a world where they are No. 3, behind China and India, whose populations will overwhelm, outsmart and outbuild us. Ergo, four more years of either Joe Biden’s open-river immigration or more of the Trump wall will squander U. S. development.”

Yes, the birth rates of nations reflect the hopes and dreams of a future. As the American poet Carl Sandburg wrote, “Babies are an expression of God’s opinion that life should go on.”
When the sentiment of nations sours to the point that young adults are apprehensive about starting or expanding families it does not bode well for the future. The command was to be fruitful, multiply and replenish the earth.
There is also a possibility that selfishness is at work in such decision to remain childless. Many stories in the humanities have shown that living for the self will not likely be as satisfying as living for others, including the begetting and rearing of children into responsible adults.
An unbelievably simple solution is to increase the allowed number of immigrants based on merit as they are the human capital of America. Businesses hire with those criteria every day
Since Biden took office roughly 6.6 million illegal aliens have entered the U.S. That’s more than the population of Harris County and Montgomery County combined. Biden’s own propaganda arm boast he deported over 250,000. That’s a whopping, .00004%. Only a complete idiot would think this is anything other than by design. Another year at this rate the numbers will be close to a million total for the first four years of Biden. A second Biden term we can reasonably expect another 10 million. The democrats figure they can’t lose. During the second term amnesty can happen. If not, then a few years down the road. Closely behind that will be complete legalization. Drivers license, social security cards and automatic voter registration. Ninety percent will vote democratic in every election. Even if Biden, or Michelle, or Newsom, or whatever democrat isn’t elected the other normalization events are likely to happen. Through normal, lawful immigration roughly a million a year will enter, and they will follow the legal path to citizenship. Do the math, the democrats have speed fed their base. for decades to come.
On top of all this, it gives the democrats justification to funnel billions of dollars to their red states and failed red cities to pay for the “crisis” they generated.
If any republican is elected president and the republicans’ control both houses will the populists demand a reversal in this madness? Hopefully. Will that negatively impact lawful immigration? Maybe, but it sure can’t be worse than what’s happening now.
Error: Ten million for Biden’s first four years.

Biden’s willing abdication to secure and defend the southern US border to invading illegal immigrants is treason – where are the republicans (in the pocket of the national chamber of commerce and big donors wanting cheap throw away labor). What if 10M armed Chinese, Russians, or for that matter Mexican troops had showed up at the border? This is an invasion without even a shot being fired. Abbott needs to change his busing strategy. Deliver all the single male criminal aliens to the steps of the capitol, white house, supreme court, and most of all K street, and the Mandandarin Oriental Hotel.
Oh, and by the way, Gov. Abbott how much money have you received from the owners of the land and the developers of the illegal alien colonia – Colony Ridge in Plum Grove, Liberty County. Cartel controlled colonia with 70,000+ illegals? And, this Colonia is the only one that is getting any coverage. Didn’t happen overnight. BTW: It’s built in a swamp, can’t wait to see what happens during next hurricane.
