Congress has once again managed to avoid a shutdown, with leadership from Speaker Mike Johnson and no help from the Marjorie Taylor Greene caucus of performance artists. Now it’s on to deciding whether or not we will provide the necessary support for Ukraine to survive and Israel to complete its victory over Hamas, both of which are critical for the security of the U. S. and the West. And incidentally, in this process, it would help for former President and now candidate Trump to let voters know exactly his views on whether he intends a major and historic change in the role of the U. S. in world leadership, which would certainly be the case if we abandoned our support for Ukraine and Israel. In other words, as Daniel Henninger has suggested, Trump has an obligation to tell the American people why 2024 won’t be another 1938.

Rather than sending a port to Gaza, we should be resupplying Israel with the weapons needed to finish off the barbarians of the Middle-East.
I agree with Greg
Generally agree about Trump stating a position but Biden has made a statement in one respect and that is he wants and supports open borders plus dang if Ukraine didn’t fire the investigator!!
